Smart Grid Router?
Everyone is comparing the smart grid with the internet — moving from a centralized to a distributed system. If that’s the case, has anyone made the “router” for the smart grid yet? I want the $100 device that let’s me plug-in and push my elliptical workout power onto the grid; and eventually gives me credit for doing so.
Having an incredibly productive night… But I must crash. So psyched about Cloudspace & projects in the works. :)

I was at a feature-minimization meeting for a new software utility today. It involves digesting a lot of feeds, and we’ve made the semi-obvious decision to store all the data indefinitely. One of the engineers asked, “what will we ever do with the data?”
@toddsampson immediately came out with, “We’ll stash it in S3 as flat files until Amazon Simple Search comes out....
Anyone else seeing strangeness from Amazon’s S3 today? It seems to be dropping files for us… Weird.
